I realized I first wanted to become a doctor when I was a child. I remember going to the pediatrician as a kid and thinking, “wow this is a great profession. This guy in the white coat gets to treat patients when they’re well, when you’re going to a well-care visit or when you’re sick’. So, at first I thought I was going to a be a pediatrician, but as I studied more in high school and college I realized I was definitely attracted to the sciences. And this furthered my conviction of becoming a physician.

The aesthetic plastic surgery patient is definitely different. They’re coming because they’re not satisfied with a certain aspect of themselves. Aside from the physical aspect, they may have a lack of confidence because of that. We’re providing a technical treatment with surgery. But aside from the technical aspect of plastic surgery, we’re making the whole patient happier and more confident.
